Burnish & Oak is a working print shop: the same press that runs our own products runs yours. We built the design system first — 12 card designs that share one vocabulary, so any palette dresses any of them and the type always answers to the card it sits on.

The promise underneath the catalogue is unglamorous and load-bearing: every face is measured against the longest fields we accept — a 20-letter name, a 26-character email, a three-letter monogram — off a real renderer, before it ships. When you type something longer still, the type sizes itself down rather than walking off the card. Nothing on a card overlaps anything else, because we checked that too.

Stock starts at 16pt — a business card, not a flyer. Corners are rounded by hand. Die-cuts run one at a time. Foil gets a real die. That is why the upgrades cost real money, and why the base card costs less than you’d guess.
